WHAT IS THE REIKI CERTIFICATION TRAINING PROGRAM?
Learn Reiki energy healing principals and practices from Jenn Avery, a certified Reiki Master Teacher, and obtain certification and attunement, which enables you to practice Reiki in a professional modality. The program includes traditional Usui Reiki training as well as personalized insights unique to the Evening Springtime experience, which you can’t get anywhere else! The Reiki Certification Training Program begins with Reiki I and continues on through Reiki II, Reiki Master Teacher, and additional specialized trainings. Take one or all of the courses in this inspired program.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM A COURSE?
Each course in the program builds upon previous levels of training, so you can expect each course to expand your practice and knowledge of Reiki. Courses are 4 weeks long and are available through either virtual or in-person modalities. Both modalities include the same elements, which are:
AN ACTIVE CLASSROOM
Our Google classroom is set up in an intuitive and accessible format, which includes weekly lessons, presentations, discussions, and quizzes. The classroom — and all resources — remains available for you even after the course concludes.
A WEEKLY MEETING
We meet either in person or online through Zoom for a 2-hour live session once per week, for 4 weeks. The sessions include an hour of interactive group learning followed by an hour of hands-on practice. Meetings are recorded and accessible for anyone who has missed a class or wishes to review the session.
SCAFFOLDED CURRICULUM
The curriculum is scaffolded with lessons pertaining to the weekly meeting. Lessons build upon the week’s themes and focuses, guiding you through the foundational concepts of the training. Resources for lessons include text (PDF and Word formats) and slide presentations (Powerpoint and video format).
ATTUNEMENT AND CERTIFICATION
As you will learn, Reiki is a hierarhical practice handed down through lineage or attunement. Once you pass the final exam in the course you will participate in your Reiki attunment and receive a certificate of completion from Evening Springtime.
WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?
The weekly meeting requires 2 hours per week. Additionally, most students who complete the course according to schedule spend between 1-2 additional hours per week reviewing materials and completing activities, totalling an expectation of 3-5 hours per week.
WHICH MATERIALS WILL I NEED?
Students need to be prepared for learning in this environment, and should come prepared with:
- reliable internet access
- a free Zoom account, webcam, and speakers (if joining virtually)
- access to Microsoft Word or Adobe Reader software (to open text files)
- notetaking materials
CAN I COMPLETE THE COURSE AT MY OWN PACE?
Yes. While the course in designed to center on community and practice in a timely manner, you can complete the course at your own pace once all lessons are available, at the end of the 4 weeks. There is no time limit for passing the quizzes and final exam (which are required to schedule your attunement).
DO I NEED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE TO ENROLL?
Reiki Level 1 is open to anyone, with or without experience with Reiki. In order to enroll in the higher-level courses, you need to have the previous level certification. You may hold certification from Evening Springtime or from another program (proof of certification is required).
AM I CERTIFIED IN REIKI IF I GET MY CERTIFICATE?
Yes. Upon completion, students are certified at whichever level they completed, and may practice Reiki on themselves and offer Reiki to others according to the scope of their training.
CAN I START MY OWN REIKI PRACTICE?
Once you obtain a certificate at any level of Reiki, you may begin your own Reiki practice. However, most practitioners continue their training through at least Reiki Level II before establishing a professional practice. Practices vary among Reiki lineages and teachers.
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
No. Refunds are not offered once the course has begun. However, students may cancel their enrollment before the start date of the course and receive a full refund.
